Steph's Studio Sessio

I was so excited when Stephanie reached out to schedule her session. I was even more excited when we decided to shoot in her super cool studio. Luckily we were able to schedule when a good amount of her work was home. The space is beautiful in it’s own right but I think having all of her large scale pieces around really turned up the vibe.

We consulted on outfits that matched her style, the space and how she wanted to feel. The first is simple and clean, perfect for marketing. The rest she can also use for marketing or just to remind herself what an absolute babe she is. I love when we can squeeze a few different purposes into one shoot ;)

My vision for boudoir (really any session) is to feel and wear what makes you feel awesome. Like the most confident version of yourself.

You look your best in whatever feels comfortable. It doesn’t have to be lingerie. If you haven’t worn a real bra in a year, you don’t have to start now!

Before you order a bunch of lacey, strappy whatchamacallits that should come with instructions, look at what you’re showing up in everyday. How can we make that work? If you’re thinking of a boudoir session I encourage you to scroll through and be inspired.

You can check out all of her AMAZING work here.

Thanks for letting me share these with the world Steph. I think we nailed it :)

P.S. You are now obligated to have me back when your next exhibit is finished!

Amy - Branding Session

I was so excited when Amy contacted me to book her branding session. If you know me you know I love therapy, my therapist, and all things personal growth. I am so grateful when therapists and other healers choose to work with me. I love the idea that I can play a small part in helping people find the help they need.

Amy sent me a Pinterest board of her dream workspace and together we chose East Nashville Greenhouse as our location. We had so much playing in and out of this adorable space.

If you are planning a branding session use these photos as inspo! Amy brought two dresses, a fun robe, jewelry, a journal, and her favorite mugs. She also had her makeup professionally done.

I always suggest bringing a friend along to any session but especially branding and boudoir. As luck would have it Amy’s best friend happened to be in town and came along! I provide an assistant but having someone you know to hype you up can make such a difference! Comfort is the key to confidence :) A fire playlist helps too!

Big thanks to Amy for trusting me to photograph such a special time in her life ❤️You can check out her offerings on Instagram here.

Trigger Sisters Immersion Weekend - Behind the scenes

I was honored to document the first Trigger Sisters’ Immersion last month. The weekend was a private immersive experience for members of their Feminine Embodiment Coaching program. Our time was filled with sisterhood circles, meditation, energy work and shared experience.

To learn more about the Trigger Sisters (they have a podcast!) click here.

Below are some photos of the behind-the-scenes magic as well as some branding shots of Dani and Casey. Stay tuned for embodied photos of all the participants ;)

Sue and Joe

The week of Sue and Joe’s wedding we obsessively checked the weather for signs of rain. Snow was also not out of the question for early April Pittsburgh but we were pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be 81 degrees! We even had enough cloud cover to move all around for portraits while guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Mayernik Center’s expansive deck.

The ceremony was equal parts sweet, hilarious and short! My kind of ceremony :)

Sue and Joe tied the knot after 13 years together and their guests came ready to celebrate! I loved watching every single one make it to the dance floor over the course of the night.

In true Pittsburgh fashion, it rained at the end but at that point, nothing could dampen the newlywed bliss. Pun intended.

Patterson Family - Fall Session

Kasey messaged me to schedule a photoshoot with her newborn and her sister Kristin’s two kids. We also planned to take a few shots of herself, hubby and their baby boy for their Christmas card. Then Kristin asked if we could take some shots of her family unit. Finally, we decided why not include the grandparents?

I’m so glad we could capture the entire Patterson clan. There’s something so special about having all three generations in one spot. Especially three generations with such perfectly coordinated outfits! Thank you all for agreeing to stand in the road and walk near and far for my creative vision ;)

Side note: not one car came by while taking these photos!

Troy and Lauren - In Love

I met Troy and Lauren this past spring at Kingfly Spirits in the Strip. We quickly bonded over one too many craft cocktails. They are moving from Pittsburgh this fall so we met for a session to commemorate their time in the Steel City. Thanks for a fun afternoon guys and best of luck on your next adventures. XO, Tillie

Adam - Motorcycle Lifestyle shoot

A few weeks back I had my brother model for me so I could practice with a new lens. He brought his 1978 Honda CB750 to Highland Park and puttered around a little. Some people (me) might say good looks run in the family.

Thanks for putting up with me bro! - Tillie
